| California Clips is a blessing on all levels. We came upon this endevour when Jayne, who lives in New Jersey, became pregnant and found they would be adding a sister for their son, Mason. Julie, her sister who lives in California, insisted that this little girl needed every "girly" hair accessory available, but was not happy at the prices and quality of product she saw. This was the catalyst for making clippies and for what was to become California Clips. She made her own unique offspring of what she saw in the stores and went home to New Jersey to teach Jayne about her gifts for the new baby girl. Soon after...Ella was born and the clippies took on a life of their own! But some outfits just needed a bow, so after a lot of fussing with ribbon, Julie created "loopy" bows and "classic" bows for her lively niece. People everywhere stopped Jayne to tell her how cute Ella was and to ask where she got the hair accessories. Jayne's friend Jodi insisted she must start selling them and came on board to make them too. We had one last problem to overcome before we were completely happy with them: how to make them stay. Well, with a hint from a friend of Julie's in California and a lot of trial and error, we have come up with a product that is sure to stay in even the finest wisps of hair. Try it and you will see: they just work! And there you have it: California Clips. Two sisters who are dedicated to family and faith who are college counselors in their "spare" time! |
